I think the yellow bird could hv been the common Iora that you saw there. The parrot is greenish...
surprisingly, the parrot spends more time near the beach & quite noisy. you r lucky if u see them outside the area.
Kinabalu Park, Poring & Sandakan promises better sightings of the endemics.
Perhaps in your next visit maybe!
Ha..ha.. Tuaran is only 30km from K.K
Sabah is wonderful, with so many place to visit and two days are surely not enough. We just covered part of K.K town, Kudasang/Poring Hotspring/Canopy and just take photo at Kinabalu Park sign board.
I was with group tour with ladies and children. You know ladies, they just like to visit that 'manik' shop at Filipino Market! :-)
huh.. kawan U go so far to KK just to do shopping only? BTW the seafood there is cheap and fresh...Ada makan ?
The Scene at Filipino seems to be the same ever since I first step my feet there 10 yrs ago. My colleagues there told me Filipino market is actually is a very notorious place the locals would like to avoid that place..
Kundasang is lovely isn't it ... for a few days untuk rehatkan minda dan udara segar. Lama-lama tak leh gak, kol 8 mlm dah gelap semua. Tapi fresh air tu, sejuk segar jer, best betul.
