A lovely flower and you have a little visitor there too. Is this Galanga the same ingredient we get in some foods prepared in Thai food here, using the root of the plant perhaps? I think I have seen it in Thom Kha Soup. Great photo and a very nice share for Today's Flowers.

It is not a Moth, but Carpenter Bee (Xylocopa sp.)

Yes, root of this plant are use for variety of Asian food here.
