i also had a similar encounter but a scary one though. I was at upper gate at Fraser's Hill photographing a large niltava, and I saw this wild boar running toward me because there was a car coming downhill honking at him, and he ran. the moment he saw me standing there by the road side, he stop and turn toward the bushes opening and disappear...I had a fright, I tell ya.
When I was working in Kuantan, I have seen this wild boar roaming in the golf course by Telok Cempedak. I have never seen one since. Very good shot with fine details and perfectly focused on the subject. Regards
