Great capture of a very striking bird Tabib! Is this a common bird in Malaysia?

Yes, this bird is quite a common bird at my backyard.
Size at 30cm, the largest of the sixteen species of barbets in Southeast Asia.

Nice mix of colours with the green.

A very colourful bird and like the Kingfisher, his beak looks too big for his body.

Beautiful shot, Tabib. I was also thinking this bird looks a lot like our Kingfishers, with that oversized and seemingly powerful bill. Are they fishing birds?
