Common Birds at Raub's Open Grassland

My initial plan for labour day holiday birding was at Fraser's Hill.
Last minute family commitment change my plan to just one hour morning birding at my usual watering hole.
Here are some of everyday birds;

Baya weaver
Baya Weaver (Ploceus philippinus) - male
Paddyfield PipitPaddyfield Pipit (Anthus rufulus)

Brown Shrike
Brown Shrike (Lanius cristatus) - this migrant bird was still here.
Burung But-butNoisy Lesser Coucal (Centropus bengalensis), sunbathing and stretching his wing.
and this common Baya weaver singing at his nest.

Not a bad harvest for a mundane place! Must be the result of a pair well trained eyes
