Location: Padang Golf Raub, Pahang.

Bangau Kerbau Terbang - Cattle Egret in flight

This flocks of Egret flew past the Raub Golf Course, along the valley and Sempam river sharp at 7.30am for the past few weeks. The show continue for about 20 minutes.
The 400mm lens hand held is ideal for this predictable flight path. The sun was supposed to be at my back, but not appear until 9am. Sigh!

Woodpeckers and Oil Palm Fruits

This Woodpeckers was found with Palm Oil fruits by the road side.
I don't think this bird eat the mesocarp of palm oil, may be searching for insect inside the bunche.

Another bird that I 'catch' at Padang Golf Raub. The overcast sky at 7.30am didn't help in this BIF shots.

Red Junglefowl at Padang Golf Raub

I have seen this Red Junglefowl  (Ayam Hutan) at Raub Golf Course a few time, but very difficult to photograph. Only this morning I managed to captured it digitally. He was feeding at a putting green with a flock of Zebra Dove, so engrossed and  didn't noticed me hiding nearby.
