Superb Tabib. We do not have shrike in Iceland but we ahve two or three species in France. How many do you have?
Lately I've spotted quite a number of Brown and Tiger Shrikes both in Kota Bharu and Kemensah. Yes they are back.
Out of 31 species worldwide only 3 species occur in Malaysia.
Two migrants - Brown Shrike (Lanius cristatus) and Tiger Shrike (Lanius tigrinus). Surprisingly the resident-Long-tailed Shrike (Lanius schach) is still not in my list yet.
