Partial Solar Eclipse - Gerhana Matahari 2010

No chance to see the partial sun eclipse at Raub this evening with this kind of sky. :(
This was photographed at 4:46pm. I waited for half an hour for the clouds to clear, but no luck.

Morning of 27 Ramadhan - Matahari Tembaga?

One of the signs of Al-Qadar (Divine Preordainments) is;
"The Sun that rises without any rays, looking like a copper or brass plate".

Gerhana Matahari - Solar eclipse at Raub, Malaysia

Hot out of my CF card. Partial Solar Eclipsed just occurred over Malaysia started at 4.30pm and finally contact around 6.55pm today. I just back from work and hurriedly took this pic at 6.23pm.
I used an X-Ray film and my son to pull the dark part of the film over the front end of 400mm telephoto lenses. This partially hidden sun look like a crescent moon.
Very cloudy day and the sun was hidden most of the eclipsed time.

16th Ramadhan's Moon

Took this tonight after Taraweh Prayer @ 9:53pm
Time flies so fast..., it's only two weeks to perform our fasting obligation.
Last ten days of Ramadhan are where Lailatul Qadar will occur.

Allah says in what can be translated as :

"Verily! We have sent it (this Qur'aan) down in the Night of Decree (Lailatul-Qadr). And what will make you know what the Night of Decree is? The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months. Therein descend the angels and the Rooh (ie. Jibreel [Gabriel]) by Allaah's Permission with all Decrees, Peace! until the appearance of dawn." [Al-Quraan:97:1-5]
