Haze and Migrant Birds

These birds are frequent  visitor at my backyard during the winter / migrant season.
I have searched for it for the past two weeks and found nothing.
Could this haze weather prevent it from returning?
Birds have been shown to use a sun, moon and stars compass, magnetic fields, visual landmarks and sense of smell

EDIT (9 Oct. 2015)
Finally, after weeks of hazy weather, the sun shows it self and clear blue sky with white clouds yesterday.
The brown shrike perched on that  wire, but I did bring my camera and telephoto. Shrike, please wait for me!

Major attraction at Bukit Tinggi - Blue & White Flycatcher

This first-winter juvenile male Blue and White Flycatcher  (Cyanoptila cyanomelana), currently is a star attraction at Bukit Tinggi. Bird photographers from as far as Singapore, Penang, and even Taiwan came on a weekend here. I'm from Pahang, sure not to miss this beauty.
When I first arrived at 7.30am, this is what I got.
Later, when the lighting gets better, I got much improved shot. This bird is not afraid of photographer and will perch regularly to feed on insects and worms at the Botanical Garden.
The usual resident made their usual appearance and I will post it later.
Location: Japanese Garden, Bukit Tinggi, Pahang.

Penghijrah - Perantau - Brown Shrike

My main birding lens is Canon 400mm f4 couple with taped pins Tamron 1.4x teleconverter (TC). With that combination, I have only one active focusing point (the periphery), so most of my shots are with tripod. With the arrival of migrant bird, I tried shooting bird in flight by taking off the TC. Oh, I really enjoyed the quick nine AF points for handheld shot.

This shrike is a few sample of hand held shot.

Burung Harimau -Tirjup - Tiger Shrike

This another LIFER, found it on Sunday. Why they called it TIGER?
The answer is: due its reddish-brown plumage with blackish bars that look like a tiger-stripe pattern.
