It didn't rain for some time, so when it rained this evening everybody was happy.

Canon 5D Mark IV failed to focus on that small plastic pole, but locked into the background flowers.

I have to do the manual focus and wait for the swallow to land.

Juvenile Pied Fantail visited my house

I am having dinner at 7:30pm when this Juvenile Pied Fantail suddenly enters my house through a front door. My son opens the windows, front and back doors, and tries to push it back outside. The young bird just flies up in a circle on the ceiling, and don't fly low have no clue where the exit points are.
We chase it for about 15 minutes around the house until the bird is completely exhausted and trapped in the corner of the kitchen. 

I inspect the bird's wings and body for any injury.

Birds in The Rain

I can't go out for birding /photography this weekend because of non stop raining.
The next best thing to do was to wait for bird at my backyard from the window.
This is what I got.

1. Pied Fan-Tail at cloth wire.

I hope all of you not boring, for I keep posting this tailor and mad bird. ;)

Mad bird from the Hill Station

I have seen the Mad Bird of javanica variety almost daily at my backyard, but this mountain type is my LIFER. Found it at Telekom Lop, Fraser's Hill.
This White-throated Fantail is almost identical with Pied Fantail except for the absence of whitish belly in this mountain species.

This bird is really "Gila" (mad/crazy), never stay still - hyperactive, jumping around, jerking, gyrating, turning and fanning to show off its tail. Very difficult to photograph.
