White-throated Kingfisher (Halcyon smyrnensis perpulchra)

The male bird flew to the tree, where a female was waiting.

Courtship ritual: The male kingfisher brings a big grasshopper to the female, demonstrating that he can find food for their baby.

He did not feed the female, but walloped the grasshopper himself.

My first time seeing so many (six) Spotted Dove congregate at the same spot

Courtship rivalry - 2 males (2 birds from right) fighting over a female (right with open wings). Three birds on the left just watching the action.
