No outing this weekend, so I process the remaining image that was captured last week at Fraser's Hill. Very common bird at that hill station.
Long-tailed Sibia
(Heterophasia picaoides) - Local name: Rimba Ekor Panjang.
Some people call this "Sky Rats".
Streaked Spiderhunter
(Arachnothera magna) - Local name: Kelicap Jantung Gunung

Have a look for more bird pictures at the Bird Photography Weekly @

WOW, gorgeous birds. The Spiderhunter is awesome. Great birds and photos.
Why are they called "sky rats"? Beautiful color on the Streaked Spiderhunter.
Stunning photos here, Tabib! Keep up the good work!
Those sky rats are beautiful and so is the Spiderhunter.
You have a much nice sky rat than our "air rats" which we call ferral rock doves. Both of these birds are very beautiful.
Excellent captures, Tabib! I can tell why the Sibias are called Sky Rats. :-)
Though nothing to shout about, it is very satisfying to see the results from the pictures taken. Very well done, congrats
You have a total winner tabib with that bottom spiderhunter photo. The entire photo is the epidemy of beauty on many levels. And you have brought out the excellence of detail in the sky rats too. Rats can be beautiful in many forms, especially if they know how to fly.
Tabib excellent images. You did excellent job. Anna :)
