Woodpeckers and Oil Palm Fruits

This Woodpeckers was found with Palm Oil fruits by the road side.
I don't think this bird eat the mesocarp of palm oil, may be searching for insect inside the bunche.
Common Flameback (Dinopium javanense) and Oil Palm (Elaeis guineensis)
Location: Near Padang Golf Raub, Pahang.

Apa Kapa?

This woodpecker looks like the ones in the trees in NTU in Singapore when i was living there. They make quite a noise.

Great shots Tabib, and how clever to leave the whole shot including the fruits.
