Can't go back to my home town (Temerloh) because of flood. Nothing to do, so took out my camera for quick birding in my backyard.
. Edit: after searching the net, I found the flower name: Zigzag plant, local name 'Pokok Lipan' scientific name: Euphorbia tithymaloides. Source: Wikipedia

Juvenile Pied Fantail visited my house
I am having dinner at 7:30pm when this Juvenile Pied Fantail suddenly enters my house through a front door. My son opens the windows, front and back doors, and tries to push it back outside. The young bird just flies up in a circle on the ceiling, and don't fly low have no clue where the exit points are.
We chase it for about 15 minutes around the house until the bird is completely exhausted and trapped in the corner of the kitchen.
I inspect the bird's wings and body for any injury.
finally released it outside
too tired and dark, she just landed at cloth hanger at the veranda
