Wild Flowers ~ Devil's cotton

I don't know what is the name of this plant and flowers. Grow at the river bank near my house.

Got the ID from Dr. YC Wee (who asked from a forum:Appreciation Plants NSS [NSSPlantsAppreciation@yahoogroups.com] ).

Abroma augusta (Common name ; Devil's cotton)
Sterculiaceae (now re-classified as Malvaceae)

The same flower here from Mable Lee of Singapore. Here again

Look like this plant have a medicinal properties, and use in homeopathic practice.
