First trip with MNS Selangor Bird Group - Bukit Rengit, Lancang

Sunset at Lancang
Sunset @ 7.10 am - taken at Lancang Tol Plaza, while waiting for the group to arrive.

Hi!
My first time joining this MNS bird group outing.
Although tired, I really enjoyed it. All the birds were lifer for me, except the common tailor bird.
First time meet the wonderful members such as Sifu Lim Aun Tiah, Jasmine Steed, John Steed (I have been reading their nature photography website regularly),Tang Tuck Hong, Susan Wong Chor Mun (PhotoMalaysia regular),Omar, Syafik and many more that I didn't remember their name.
I may join you all again, if time permitted. Thank you every body.
Best regards,
/Redzlan/.

Black-naped Monarch (Hypothymis azurea)

Somebody found this little monarch on the road.
It look stunted and didn't more when held by Aun Tiah and just stayed motionless on a dry leaf cupped by Tang.
No external injury was observe.

It then left on that dry leaf on the tree branch.
On close inspection, you see the injury at the lower eye lid there.
It was still there when I went home.

{Edited (24/06/08), I read Susan Blog that the bird was well and recovered and flew off @ 12.14 pm.
What I thought of injured lower lid was actually the normal feather colour!}.
