Drongo feeding behavior

Drongo feeding behavior Lesser Racquet-tailed Drongo (Dicrurus remifer) [Lesser Racquet-tailed Drongo (Dicrurus remifer)]

I have a the opportunity to observe this Dongo in action along the Genting Road, near the mosque at Fraser's Hill last Sunday, during the International Bird race.

These insectivorous birds are found in usually tropical moist montana such as Fraser's Hill here.

I noticed two drongos hunt for insects. They catch the insects in mid-flight and return to the same perch to eat it. (same behavior as bee eater)

The photograph shows drongo in the act of swallowing.
They have short legs and sit very upright whilst perched, like a shrike.

Good pic!
It will be great if you have the pic with insect at the beak.
