We used to have peacocks and peahens when we lived in Winthrop. They used to land on our roof and call out load every morning and wake us up like an alarm clock. They were fun to watch but they were also a little zany too. Their chicks were also always cute to watch.
Oooh, so pretty. My ex & I took care of a few peacock chicks years ago (we raised various game birds, ourselves.) They're so ugly as chicks! You'd never think they'd grow up to be so splendid!
