I drove my car slowly at logging track at Batu 18 (18th mile), Batu Malim.
With my left hand on the car's steering and right hand holding the camera on top of Bean Bag. Suddenly one small bird flew in and perched on the log, and I stopped my car. Fired a shot in high speed continuous mode, and managed to captured 17 frame before the bird flew off.

Paddyfield Pipit (Anthus rufulus)

Actually I wanted to join Yen to Taman Negara, Kuala Tahan, when he SMS me "There are two chicks from Black-naped Monarch. Unfortunately I'm not feeling well (flu), and I just told Yen to send my regards to that baby monarch. ;-).
I'm not disappointed because I got my lifer this weekend.

Very nice shots of the pipit!
Great captures of the Paddyfield Pipit Tabib! And congrats on the lifer! I love the detail in those tiny feathers around the beak. And the bokeh is perfect for this bird.
Very nice photos. I like the details.
Lovely bokeh and perfect shots of the pipit. The compositions are awesome.
All the hard work paid off... Sweet shots!
Wonderful image. Thanks for stopping by my blog and commenting. I always enjoy comments and appreciate the kindness that is usually given to me. I enjoyed looking around your sight and have added you to my google reader. I love seeing birds from parts of the world that I will probably never see otherwise. I also liked that you shared the DIY Bean Bag Lens Mount how cool is that. And in essence it only cost you the price for the beans to fill it very cool.
...beautiful photograph. So crisp and clear. I hope you are feeling better. I fought a terrible cold a couple of weeks ago--no fun at all!
