Silver-breasted Broadbill (Serilophus lunatus rothschildi) - male
female
Except for Dusky Broadbill, they are brightly coloured birds with large broad bill and wide gape.
The Malaysia Peninsula has seven species, and I only see three so far:-
1. Silver-breasted Broadbill, 2. Dusky Broadbill ,3. Black-and-red Broadbill
four more to go;
4. Banded Broadbill, 5. Black-and-yellow Broadbill, 6. Green Broadbill and 7. Long-tailed Broadbill

You are lucky that the bird posed for you willing. Front & back. Both very good and thanks for sharing too.
That is one beautiful bird Tabib! Seeing all of your diverse species makes me wonder what we are missing here in north america. The diversity doesn't compare to your paradise. Good luck and happy birding finding your last four species of broadbill.
good shots Doc.
You have done it again Tabib. Great photos. Love the colours of that bird.
