on a serious note, what do you know about people making artificial swifts' nest to harvest birds nest? I heardd some disturbing news, but since it is not official, i wonder if you heard anything.

Fabulous sky shot. I like how the tree limbs are silhouetted against the clouds.
Interesting capture of the bird in the third shot; like it is leaping from one branch to the next.
I have the same swallow in picture last Sunday. There is mystery that I would like to share later.
But the "hopping" startling is good.

Great sunset shot. I love it how the birds do not fly down, but drop without any help with their wings. Chickadees do that all the time.
