Birding at Puncak Inn Fraser's Hill

I seldom stay overnight on Fraser's Hill for birding.  However, last weekend I checked in at the Puncak Inn because I didn't feel like driving up too early from my house. Arrived there at 7.30pm, and that budget hotel was fully booked, so I got the room at the top (4th floor). The staircase is straight up and very steep, good for knee exercise!.

Short birding in front of the hotel before check out, and got these two species. This Black-throated Sunbird flew in at a bottle brush flower looking for nectar.

Thank you to Soon Yin Tee from Facebook's My Nice Garden Chat group for the plant/flower ID.

Streaked Spiderhunter looking at the Yellow Daylily flowers about 10 meters from the front door. When I went for close-up shot, it flew over to a wire cable nearby.

2 years is too long for a sabattical. Good to see that you're shooting again.
