Green-billed Malkoha (Phaenicophaeus tristis) - another new species at MyBackyard

Green-billed Malkoha (Phaenicophaeus tristis) at Moringa Oleifera tree at my backyard at Raub MalaysiaNew bird species is very hard to be found at my backyard now. That last one was Banded Woodpecker that appeared in early Jun this year. This afternoon I noticed something big moving in between the Moringa Oleifera tree leaves. I quickly took the bin, and here my LIFER. Lucky for me that it stayed there a few moment allowing for few record shots.

Congrats on your backyard lifer!
Well the last 'backyard lifer' that I got was Rufous Woodpecker waaay back in 1991!!

I hope you will have a great festival today. I'd like to see some food shots if you can.

Hi! thanks for your comments.

Amila,
There was no grand festival for 'Nuzul Quraan' here. We celebrated only with prayer. Only a few states declared a holiday on the 17th of Ramadan - the day where Quraan was first revealed to Prophet Mohammad (saw.
I love to shot food, but can't do it during this fasting month. My tongue will start salivating before long! :-)

Bobie!,
I love your Spanish Dancer under water.

Jordon,
I don't read DCM. If you don't mind, can your photocopy that page 6 and email to me? :-)

Thank for a visit an adventure girl.
