Road-side birds on Sunday

I had a quick shots of common Roadside birds, while on the way to work today (hey, I work on Sunday!). Scaly-breasted Munia feeding on grass seeds.

Our former Pacific Swallow is now split as Hill Swallow. The single Muia shot is classy!

Yes yours is 'Hirundo hyperythra' with orange red underparts compare to 'tahitica'dusky underparts.

That Munia is one of my favourite.

Yup, nice shot indeed! We have the Dusky Munia here which is endemic to Borneo.Too bad tho coz my shot wasn't as nice as yours.(next time I hope)

When you describe "common" birds I smile. They are new for me. Beautiful photos of the scaly Muia.
