Apparently the bat rest/hang on the stalk and fell down, and trapped under the leaf. I hold it with my hand took a few pictures before releasing it free.

"Your bat belongs to the Myotis muricola complex. I am sure that I checked many books, e.g. Indian Subcontinent bats by Bates et al, SW Asian mammals by Corbet and Hill. and also I wish to check from Dr. Francis Charles, who works your country bats specifically with collaboration of Dr. Zubaid Akbar.
This species group has some sibling species and exact identification needs DNA analysis and teeth check etc."

Thanks for taking good care of this little fellow. Bats are actually great to have around. Thanks for sharing!
They are quite the amazing creature. It's so small too, but probably looks so much bigger with its wings extended. It's fun to watch them just after dusk catching insects. Nice post Tabib.
Wow, Tabib! That's really cool! Nice that you got a general ID, too!
Aren't they funny little things? We sell bat houses at our wild bird shop, and had a bat "expert" come last year. She brought a couple of live bats with her - they were amazing...she fed them mealworms, and ever time, they spat out the heads!
Great rescue. I love to watch the bats catching insect late on a summer's afternoon.
Oh wow! We've got around 17 local species of bat around here. I love watching them fly by at night.
