Nicely captured Doc.I've never seen a juvenile before.
I usually see a kingfisher, if remember correctly, blue in colour for the whole body.
...such beautiful captures of the kingfisher. I love how colorful they are. Ours are much duller. The Pipit is beautiful. I'ts breast reminds me of a pinecone!
That second photo looks like he's a very happy bird. The have very wonderful colors.
He is so bright and colourful he doesn't look real. Amazing bird, couldn't hide very well.
Now that is a common garden bird of mine. These pics are so beautiful.
