Grey-chinned Minivet at Giant Fern

Local name: Burung Matahari Gunung , literally mean 'Mountain Sun Bird'
There are 13 species in the genues Pericrocotus, and this solaris species mean solar = sun = matahari

The giant fern attracted me. How giant is the giant fern?

Rainfield, I'm sure you have seen this 'Paku Gergasi' at Cameron Highland or any highland in Malaysia, or maybe at Caruk Tokun. ;;)

It can grow to 7m tall. stalk of a leaf 2m, and bipinnate up to 5-7m long.

Nice captures Tabib. I have seen that too closer to the Gap on FH-Gap road. 'Mountain Sun Bird' sounds an intesting name for this.
